Two meetings were held that month the 11th was regular meeting and the 26th, as the 26th was the Friday before the full moon. Meetings were held through the summer months, however several times due to the heat only four members would came to the meeting and chapter could not be held. Meetings continued to be held once a month, unless there was to be a initiation until April 30, 1909 when a initiation was held on a stated meeting. In July 1909 they must of had a Blue Moon-two full moons, as the chapter met on the 2nd and 30th.

The Richland Masonic Lodge #385 rented from Mr. John W. Pritchett in December 1901 and the location is not know as of yet. The Richland Lodge and Success Chapter shared the building. Success Chapter meetings were held twice a month.

Worthy Matrons and Worthy Patrons for the first five years were:

--1901, Sarah J. Faust and Leon D. Groom

--1902, Sarah Faust and W. S. Lea

--1903, Lois S. Yeoman and W. S. Lea

--1904, Lois S. Yeoman and W. S. Lea

--1905, Mildred Titterington and H. Rowland

In 1905, Lois Yeoman was the first District Deputy Grand Matron for our Chapter and conducted the installation from memory in services at city hall.

January 29, 1906 the Richland Masonic Lodge #385 and Success Chapter #87 moved to the new building upstairs at the corner of Pine and Camden Street and rented from Mr. Samuel Gibson.

Leaders in 1906 were Mildred Titterington and Ed Oliver. The chapter responded to a call to help the O.E.S. relief fund for San Francisco, following the earthquake there.

Travel expenses by railroad for the Worthy Matron to attend Grand Chapter were authorized in 1907, a total of $6.40. Worthy Matron was Minnie Warren and Dr. Murphy was Worthy Patron. The two were re-elected for the following year 1908.

Arva Lea and C. L. Evington were leaders in both 1909 and 1910.

Elizabeth Shubert was initiated in April 1909.

In 1911 the Worthy Grand Matron of Missouri and the Grand Lecturer arrived by train for an official visit. The chapter paid the phone rental for the year totaling $3.00. Eva Starnes and A.E. Campbell were Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron that year.

Paper work and membership increased, so in 1912, when Martha McDonald and Ed Dresser was the chapters Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron, it was voted to pay the secretary $5.00 a year.

Olive Warren and Ed Dresser served as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron in 1913. The following year 1914 Viola E. Groom and H.E. Warren Jr. were elected. Olive Warren was elected to finish the term of Viola Groom when she moved out of town.

In 1915, a new owner of the building named Elizabeth Lingsweiller. Upstairs over the Richland hardware store is where the meetings still took place. The stairs were steep and located on the outside of the building. Below is a picture of the entryway of how it stands now as of 2009.

H.E. Warren Jr. continued as Worthy Patron in 1915. Lula Dresser was Worthy Matron. Also that year Edith Bateman was initated into the chapter.

C.W. Warren was elected Worthy Patron for the first of the three successive terms in 1916. Serving with him were Jessie Henry, 1916; Hazel Davis, 1917; and Jennie Lingsweiller, 1918. Mable Defore was initiated April 1916, and Minerva Cowan on November 1917.

The influenza epidemic of 1919 caused postponement of installation that year until January. Florence Warren and W.L. Wright were installed. Mildred Warren was initiated that year.

The year 1920 was difficult for the chapter. Attendance dropped and meetings in February and May were cancelled for the lack of a quorum. The Worthy Matron was Elizabeth Shubert and Worthy Patron was A.L. Wright that year. A booster committee was appointed and again membership increased.

In 1921 Ruby Cowan and C.W. Warren headed the chapter. The following year 1922 the leaders were Hazel Belshe and R.A. Belshe. R.A. Belshe continued as Worthy Patron in 1923 and Minerva Cowan was Worthy Matron. Seven members left that year to go join the new Lebanon Chapter.

The chapter decided that ladies holding offices would wear white dresses at initiations in 1924. New members that year included Agnes Underwood by initiation and Clara Winsor by application from Dadeville. Leaders were Ruth Evington and Vada Sisk.

The Masons felt the need to find a location for a new building and the Warren family donated the lot. So, in 1972 Richland Masonic Lodge #385 built a new lodge at 108 North Chestnut Street in Richland, Missouri. Richland Lodge and Success Chapter moved to the new location that year. Through the efforts of the Masons and Eastern Star there were many moneymaking projects to raise the necessary money. The Eastern Star pledged $10,000.00.
