Black Forest Cake
1 devil’s food cake mix
, 21 ounce can of cherry pie filling, 1 tablespoons of almond flavoring, 1- 5.1 package of vanilla instant pudding, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1- 8 oz tub of whipped topping, 2 tablespoon of chocolate sprinkles.Directions: Bake cake according to manufacturer’s instructions in a 9x13” pan. Mix pie filling, and almond flavoring. While cake is still warm, poke it with a fork and then spread cherry filling over cake. When cake is cool, mix pudding, vanilla, and whipped topping. Spread this over cake, carefully covering cherry pie filling. Decorate with chocolate sprinkles... Marla Driver, Success Chapter #87
Butter Cake
1 box Duncan Hines Butter Cake Mix, 1 15-ounce can crushed pineapple, 1 cup sugar, 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix, 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, 1 8-ounce carton frozen topping, 2 cups chopped pecans, 1 1/2 cup flaked coconut.
Directions: Make cake according to package directions and bake in a 9x13 cake pan at 350 degrees according to time given on package. Cook pineapple and sugar for 5 minutes. Pour over cake. Mix pudding as directed on package; add cream cheese and frozen topping. Spoon over pineapple. Slice bananas on top; sprinkle with nuts and coconut. (I use only about 1 cup of nuts and coconut).. Cherry Winks
2 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon soda, 3/4 cup shortening, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 cup chopped dates, 1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries, 2 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes, extra cherries for topping.
Directions: Sift flour, baking powder and soda; set aside. Combine shortening and sugar; cream well. Blend eggs. add milk and vanilla. Blend in sifted dry ingredients, mix well. Add pecans, dates and cherries; mix well. Shape into balls using a level tablespoon of dough for each cookie. Roll each ball of dough into crushed cornflakes. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with 1/4 of cherry. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Do not stack or store until cold. This is a family favorite and among the Christmas Holiday goodie I serve... Colorful Dessert
1 all ready made Angel Food Cake, 1 large box vanilla pudding (the one you cook), 1 large cool whip, 1 large bag of pecans (small pieces), 1 jar of Maraschino Cherries, Optional coconut.
Directions: Cut half of the angel food cake into pieces and put in bottom of see thru bowl or punch bowl. Make pudding as directed on box and pour half of the pudding over cake pieces. Let pudding and cake cool before putting cool whip over pudding. Sprinkle with nuts over cool whip to your desire. Pat cherries dry and cut them into and lay on top nuts. 'Dang' Good Pie
3 eggs, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 stick melted Oleo, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 medium can crushed pineapple, 1 cup coconut.

Fudge Nut Bar Cookies
1 cup margarine, 2 cups light brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla, 2 1/2 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 cups of cooked oats
Directions: Cream top ingredients together.
Filling: 12 ounce chocolate chips, 1 cup eagle brand milk, 2 tablespoons margarine, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 cup of nuts, 2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions: Cook in double boiler until chocolate is melted and creamy. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Put 2/3 of top ingredients in a pan 13x10. Then add filling, then the rest of the top ingredients. Swirl in chocolate. Cook at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes... Mary Lou Southard, Success Chapter#87
4 Layer Dessert (Charley Brown)
First mix with fork or pastry blender. 1 1/2 sticks of oleo margarine, 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 chopped pecans. Press in 9x13 dish and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes and cool.
Mix 1 8 ounce package cream cheese, 1 cup powder sugar, 1 cup cool whip. Put this over the first layer.
2 cups of milk heated in double boiler (but do not boil), 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoon of corn starch, pinch salt, 2 tablespoons of cocoa. Mix dry ingredients with milk. Milk 1/2 cup and 3 egg yolks and add to heated milk. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat and add 1 tablespoon butter. Cool before adding. Put chocolate pudding on second layer.
Top with remaining cool whip and garnish with pecans.
Lemon Jell-O Cake
1 package of lemon supreme cake mix, 4 eggs, 3/4 cup water, 3/4 cup Wesson oil, 1 package lemon instant pudding mix (Jell-O brand), 1 lemon, 2 cups powder sugar, 2 oranges.
Directions: Bake in a flour pan 375 until done. As soon as done take cake out of oven. Prick full holes with a fork and spread a glaze over the top made of powder sugar and juice of oranges and lemon... Jessie Gilbert, Success Chapter #87
Low Fat Pie
2 small yogurt (flavor you like), 1 small box Jell-O (same flavor as yogurt, 1 small low fat cool whip, 1 graham cracker crust (less Fat).
Directions: Mix cool whip and yogurt together. Get crust ready. Boil 1/4 cup water, dissolve Jell-O. Fold into cool whip mixture and pour into pie crust. Let set in refrigerator until it sets... Kelly Hill, Success Chapter #87.
Mrs. Browns "Cherry Cobbler"
1 #2 can cherries, 1/2 stick oleo, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 cups liquid (juice & water). Directions: Boil
1/2 stick oleo, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup sweet milk, 1 teaspoon baking powder, flour.
Directions: Cream oleo, sugar and milk. Add baking powder and flour to stiffen and thicken the cake dough. Spread on bottom of greased pan and pour fruit mixture over dough. Bake slow 350 degrees until nice and brown.... Jessie Gilbert, Success Chapter #87
Old Ivory's Egg Custard Pie
6 whole eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, dash salt, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Directions: Combine all ingredients in deep mixing bowl and beat until sugar is dissolved. Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with an additional dusting of nutmeg. Orange Tapioca Pudding
1 can mandarin oranges, water, 1 package orange Jell-O, 1 package. tapioca pudding, 1 small Koolwhip

Pay Day Bars
1 yellow cake mix, 1/3 cup butter (melted), 1 egg beaten
Directions: Mix & bake in ungreased 9x13 inch pan for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. While still hot put 3 cups miniature marshmallows on top.
Combine 12 ounce Peanut Butter chips, 2/3 cup corn syrup, 2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 cup butter. Heat until smooth, stirring constantly. Add 2 cups rice krispies, 2 cup salted peanuts. Mix well and spread on top of marshmallows... Neva Hicks Success Chapter #87
Peach Cake
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix with Pudding, 1 Large can slice peaches with heavy syrup (Drain), 1 1/2 box Philadelphia Cream Cheese, 1 cup Sugar, Reserve some peach juice.
Direction: Preheat oven to direction on box of cake mix. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Mix what it says on back of cake box. Mix 4 tablespoons of peach juice with cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Pour cake mix into pan then add slice peaches. Now spread cream cheese mixture over top. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.; Kelly Hill, Success Chapter #87
Peanut Brownies
1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup Oleo, 2 eggs, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup chocolate chips.
Directions: Blend peanut butter, sugar and oleo. Add one at time eggs, then beat in flour, add chocolate chips and bake at 350 degree if using glass, 375 degree in pan for 30 minutes or till pull away from side.. Louise York, Success Chapter #87
Peanut Butter Cashew Sundaes
1/3 cup light corn syrup, 1/4 cup peanut butter, 4 scoops ice cream, 1/2 cup salted cashew.
Directions: In a small bowl combine the corn syrup and peanut butter. Serve over ice cream and top with nuts. Makes about 4 servings. Claudette Miller, Success Chapter #87.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 cup Jiff peanut butter
Directions: Mix all together; form into balls just like you would with regular peanut butter cookie dough. Place on cookie sheet and press with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for around 8 to 10 minutes. You do not brown them like regular peanut butter cookies. Allow to cool before removing from cookie sheet.. Kelly Hill, Success Chapter #87.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 egg, 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar
Directions: Mix together and chill 1 hr. Roll into balls on cookie sheet and flatten criss-cross with fork. Bake approx. 8 min at 350 degrees until set. Do not brown... Ruby Noe, Success Chapter #87
Popcorn Cake
4 quarts popped popcorn, 1 pound M&Ms, 1 cup peanuts, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup butter, 1 pound mini marshmallows.
Directions: Mix popcorn, M&Ms and peanuts in large bowl. Heat oil, butter, and marshmallows in pan until melted. Pour over popcorn mixture. Blend together with heavy spoon or hands. Spray Bundt cake pan with vegetable spray. Press popcorn mixture lightly into pan and refrigerate until cool. To remove cake from pan, put pan in warm water. Be careful not to get water on your cake. Pretzel Salad Dessert
2 cups crushed pretzel, 3/4 cup margarine, melted, 2 teaspoons white sugar, 8 ounce package cream cheese, 3/4 cup white sugar, 4 1/2 ounces frozen whipped topping (thawed), 6 ounce package strawberry flavored gelatin, 2 cups boiling water, 2- 10 ounce packages frozen strawberries.
Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix crushed pretzels, margarine and sugar. Press crushed pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish, and bake in the preheated oven 8 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Blend together the cream cheese and sugar. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over cooled pretzel mixture. In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry flavored gelatin in boiling water. Mix in strawberries and set aside to cool for 15 minutes. Pour gelatin mixture over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours... Kelly Hill, Success Chapter #87
Raw Apple Cake
1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1 egg, 1/2 cup raisins, 2 cup raw cut up apples, 1 teaspoon soda, 1 1/2 cup flour, strong coffee, 1/2 teaspoon allspice, 1/4 teaspoon cloves, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 cup nuts, 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Russian Teacakes
1 cup soft butter or marg., 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla (Mix thoroughly), 2 1/4 cup sifted flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt (Sift together and stir in), 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts (Mix in)
Directions: Chill dough. Roll into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet (cookies do not spread). Bake until set, but not brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
