Trestle Board
April/May 2010

Brethren, we have brought eight Entered Apprentices, five Fellow Craft and one Master Mason into the Craft the last two months, Congratulations to the new brethren.
On 8 May 2010, Richland held the Open Air Degree and Brother Liggins was raised to the degree of Master Mason. There was 39 Brethren in attendance. Everyone did a great job.
On 12 June 2010, Richland and Waynesville lodge will be hosting a MOCHIP event at the St. Robert Building like we did last year. Start passing the word. This is a great community event that helps with children and also so Masons at work. We are still trying to coordinate the dental part so if anyone knows someone from the dental area on post please help us out and let me know. Anyone needing fliers can contact Paul Herd and he can e-mail some to you.
On 19 June 2010, Waynesville will be hosting a Chance to Advance) at Waynesville Lodge. I would like all of our members that have not completed their degrees to attend so we can catch up. Please find time to attend. All Master Masons are encouraged to come out and support our members attending the C2A and help with the event.
On 26 June 2010, Richland Lodge will have our Fish Fry at the lodge. This is a family event and everyone is welcome. I will get the fish and all we need is brethren to bring a side dish of some sort. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs for the children and those who do not eat fish. Brother Carl will come up with a flyer for side dishes and will post it at the lodge next week. Bring the family and come enjoy.
Our annual charity Golf Tournament will be 6 August 2010. We will start the tournament at 0930am this year. We have flyers at the lodge or I can e-mail you some if needed. I need everyone to help with getting hole sponsors, door prizes and teams. Start early before people run out of funds. The local area knows about this tournament because we do it every year. A hole sponsor is $100.00 and we put up a sign at a hole to advertise their business. If they cannot do this then they can donate a door prize. Please get a business card if they do either one. Turn in all paperwork to Jimmy Drennon or me.
Fraternally,
Paul D. Herd, Worshipful Master
